DAY TWENTY-NINE: Snorkelling pt 2
After such a good day yesterday I wanted to go snorkelling again, only this time I insisted on going into the sea instead of a protected pool. We walked up to the beach and walked along to the rocky outcrop where I assumed there would be fish. I set off swimming towards the rocks it didn't look too rough until I got in. I hardly strained myself but when I looked up to see where Vicki was and it was well over 100m away. So the current was pretty strong and that was obvious from what I saw or couldn't see. All I saw was plant life whipping past me at unreal speeds, the water was too rough so I didn't see anything. After that we played around near the rock pool and saw a few small fish.
Years before this whole adventure began, Vicki and myself have touched upon some minor travelling. I was eighteen when I bought a van and travelled western Europe alone and I have travelled the cities of Europe with the inter rail system. Vicki on the other hand has travelled America and parts of Australia staying in back packers hostels. Join us as we embark on an adventure of a lifetime across the beautiful coasts, bustling cities and arid deserts of Australia.
