It all began when we first met as work colleagues in autumn 2011. We both had a common interest in rock climbing and started to climb regular. Eventually, getting to know each other extremely well and finding out other interests for example, the love for James Bond movies. The relationship developed and we started other hobbies such as fell walking. We started with the challenge of the 216 Wainwright fell walks and in less than 12 months we had completed 36 fells. The need for adventure is our true passion so we continue exploring, moving onto travelling. We both have an interest in exploring other countries and had both previously travelled. It was time to undergo a travelling adventure together. We have chosen Australia not because it’s the furthest away, but for three reasons. One, its large scale and variety of things to do and see, two, Dave’s love for wildlife and three, the security of having family for help along the way. Now join us on our years adventure, we hopefully can help other couples doing similar adventures. We’re happy to give advice about the trip, don’t hesitate to contact us.
